A small dome on the finger. Whole ring no. 1 is the collection’s most direct Edwardian descendant — a faceted gemstone held aloft by a high openwork setting where slim silver tendrils branch and meet, equally readable as the leading of a stained-glass window or the veins of a leaf from beneath.
The architectural frame is built first; the vein-work added to the model by hand. Available in iolite, amethyst, lemon quartz and other gemstones — the stone changes the mood, the structure stays.
