This artwork was created special for the exhibition "Particles" by Brussels Jewelry Week 2024.
This object depicts light as a metaphor of human will. It is a wave — continuous and ubiquitous glow around us. And it is a totality of discrete little particles of human deeds. Almost everything we can look at is expressions of someone’s will.
These tiny actions, usually aiming for one’s personal gain, may seem random, irrelevant, wrong even. Chaotic. At the same time people can and do amalgamate in something capable of turning chaos into order. A system, in which every little particle of will aims to make something right. A system, which radiates glow of hope.
It cannot be perfect, as none of us is. It can be damaged or even broken. But in that system every little stream of light refracts and bounces, empowering its fellow system parts, and creating something mighty, beautiful and right.

If your jewelry tarnishes, you can use the polishing cloth you recieved with your parcel to restore its shine. This will only work with silver jewelry with no plating.
